Vameee : Paris Fashion Week

The New Art Room had the opportunity to meet Atlanta artist Vxmeee at his first Paris Fashion Week pop-up with the scientist lab. It was a fantastic experience to see the merch collaboration and some of his paintings.

His style is something I have been watching for quite some time and have grown to love. He explained how he grew up watching jackass and the influence the show had on him growing up. During our conversation, he returned to simpler times and reminisced about how music being played at home inspired his art. He said he would design his colouring books and kept experimenting until this point, which I found extremely interesting and creative. His Pieces are relatable and serve as a memory in time; looking at his pieces reminds me of things from when I was younger. It could be a wrestler from the WWE or Courage, the Cowardly Dog, or a rapper to whom he wants to give his flowers. Vxmee always finds his way to put his unique twist on it and make it extraordinary. I want to thank Vxmeee and the scientist lab for welcoming The New Art Room to their pop-up, and I can’t wait till we link up again. It was a great experience and moment. @vxmeee@scientist__lab
