REMI THOUZEAU COÏNCIDENCE DES OPPOSÉS

It was a wonderful exhibition to experience. It started with a question about what inspires him, and the reply was simple: “Life.”

This answer gave me a better understanding of his work. We also discussed life’s positive and negative impacts and the yin-yang effect portrayed in many pieces. From my knowledge of Ying and Yang, an ancient Chinese philosophy, they complement each other and provide balance, which is a compliment I can give to Remi’s artistic vision; he looks to provide balance. You get to see his perspective from many different views, with vibrant and low colours, transforming sceneries of calmness and chaos, giving a moment of peace in his artwork.

I have been following his pieces for the last two years, and seeing his progress has been a pleasure. Thank him for bringing me through his exhibition. I would also like to thank Mspace for welcoming The New Art Room to their gallery. It was a great day with lovely people. @remithouzeau @mspaceparis
